Behram Turan, PE, LSRP, Principal at Icon Engineering (Division of CME Associates)

Mr. Turan is the Principal and founder of Icon Engineering, a Division of CME Associates, an engineering firm in New Jersey, USA.  Mr. Turan has more than 25 years of broad-ranging professional experience and technical knowledge in Civil and Environmental Engineering fields. Mr. Turan is a licensed Professional Engineer, and Licensed Site Remediation Professional in New Jersey. Mr. Turan provided expert testimony before numerous Township Planning Boards and Board of Adjustments for commercial and residential projects involving site planning and development.  Mr. Turan also prepared numerous environmental due diligence reviews for commercial and industrial property acquisitions. Mr. Turan received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1980.   Having awarded a Turkish Government scholarship in 1982, Mr. Turan completed his graduate studies at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado, with Master of Science degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Management in 1984. Mr. Turan also completed courses toward Ph.D. at Rutgers University. Mr. Turan is current board of trustees president of TASCEE.  

Beyhan Karahan, AIA, LEED, Principal at Beyhan Karahan & Associates Architects.

Beyhan Karahan is a practicing architect and a teacher.  She is a professor of architecture at New York Institute of Technology, School of Architecture and Design (since 1983).  As the founder and principal of Beyhan Karahan & Associates Architects (since 1997) she takes the leading role and responsibility for the design of each of the firm’s projects. She is a member of AIA, US Green Building Council and serves on the Architecture Planning and Design panel for the New York State Council on the Arts. Recipient of the 2008 AIA New York State Award of Excellence for large residential, AIA New York Chapter Housing Design Award in 2005, Preservation League of New York State Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation in 2002 and Special Recognition in Design Award from the Art Commission of the City of New York in 1998, her work has been exhibited at several galleries, and published in the USA and Europe. 

Ms. Karahan has a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture Planning and Preservation (1977) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from SUNY at Stony Brook and Middle East Technical University Ankara, Turkey (1974).

Jeffrey M. Brown, CEO of Jeffrey M. Brown LLC, Builders and Construction Managers.

Jeffrey M. Brown LLC has been performing residential, commercial, retail and institutional construction in 14 east coast states, since 1971. The firm enjoys repeat and referral business from clients such as Tiffany, Federal Express, Mack-Cali, Target Corp, Walmart, General Motors, Desault Falcon Jet, Crate & Barrell, SJP Properties, Hersha Hotel Group and many more.  Brown is also founder of Brown Hill Development, a boutique, opportunistic development company in operation for over 15 years.
- Brown Hill created Federal Express City Station, a full city block facility in Greenwich Village, 5 stories, Fedex's first ever vertical distribution center for urban markets.
